The HRSMC strongly welcomes applications that:

• Stimulate cross-fertilisation between differently affiliated HRSMC research groups, involving two or more applicants from different groups.
• Support fundamental research that is not directly application-driven.

Who can apply?

Staff members and associated members (RU members, as second applicants) of the HRSMC with a permanent position and tenure-track status are eligible. Applications involving staff members from two or more different research groups will be given higher priority for funding (if other aspects are comparable).

Applications can be submitted twice a year, before April 1 and before October 1 and should be sent to hrsmc-science@uva.nl.

After approval, the visit should commence within one year of the approval date. It is important to note that the visiting fellow must remain employed by their home institution during their stay in the Netherlands. Exceptions to the start date can be requested via email.
